Yes. The ICS module follows NIMS guidelines including the standard ICS organizational structure, position titles, form numbering (201–215), and communication protocols. It is designed to complement — not replace — formal ICS training and certification. Personnel should still complete FEMA IS-100, IS-200, and IS-700 courses.

Activate ICS for any incident requiring multi-team coordination, spanning more than one operational period (12–24 hours), involving mutual aid or external agencies, or requiring formal documentation for after-action review. Common examples include large-scale events, natural disasters, active threat situations, and multi-site incidents.

Yes. Each agency Incident Commander joins the unified command, sees their own resource pool, and shares a common operating picture and Incident Action Plan. Role-based permissions ensure agencies manage only their own personnel while maintaining full visibility of the shared response.

Yes. Field personnel receive assignments pushed directly to their device, update task status in real time, access the live incident map with resource positions, and communicate via dedicated incident channels and push-to-talk. Works on both iOS and Android via the mobile app.
