Introducing Camera Monitoring: IP Cameras on Your Live Map
Add IP cameras to your TeamMap dashboard. Pin cameras on the live map, monitor online/offline status, view snapshots, and link cameras to patrol locations — all from one screen.

Security teams manage dozens — sometimes hundreds — of IP cameras across multiple properties. Until now, those cameras lived in a separate NVR, disconnected from your guard tracking and patrol routes. Camera Monitoring brings them together.
Add IP cameras to your TeamMap live map. See online/offline status, view snapshots, link cameras to locations, and manage your entire camera fleet from the same dashboard you use for guards and patrols. $1/camera/month as an add-on.
Why Cameras on the Map?
Guards patrol routes. Cameras watch fixed positions. When both live on the same map, you get complete situational awareness: you can see where guards are, where cameras point, and where gaps exist — all at a glance.
If an incident happens at a location, you immediately see which cameras cover that area and whether they're online. No switching to a separate NVR app to cross-reference locations.
What You Can Do
Key Capabilities
- Pin cameras on the map: Each camera sits at its real-world coordinates. See your entire camera fleet alongside guard locations and patrol routes.
- Monitor status: Online, offline, or maintenance — see camera health at a glance. Know immediately when a camera goes down.
- View snapshots: See the latest frame from each camera without opening your NVR. Snapshots update at your configured interval.
- Link to locations: Associate cameras with buildings and properties. Filter by location to see coverage per site.
- Track details: Manufacturer, model, resolution, rotation angle — keep a complete asset inventory of your camera fleet.
Supported Camera Types
Camera Monitoring works with any IP camera that exposes a stream URL (RTSP, HLS, or WebRTC). We track camera type metadata for fixed, PTZ, dome, bullet, thermal, LPR, and body cameras — each gets appropriate handling and iconography on the map.
Pricing
Cameras are billed as an add-on at $1 per camera per month. There's no minimum count — add one camera or five hundred. The add-on appears on your existing TeamMap invoice.
Getting Started
Enable cameras in your organization settings, then add your first camera from the sidebar or command palette. Enter the camera name, type, stream URL, and pin it on the map. That's it — your camera appears on the live map immediately.
